In a meeting on security ahead of the 32nd SEA Games, Secretary General of the 32nd SEA Games Organizing Committee - 12th ASEAN Para Games (CAMSOC-CAMAPGOC), Mr. Vath Chamroeun said: “We must be aware that security forces are ready to intervene anytime, anywhere. We ensure that athletes, coaches and delegates can come and go home safely.

Security forces need to be divided into tasks and have a clear plan under the direct command of Senior Lieutenant General Neth Savoeun, National Police Commissioner and Chairman of the CAMSOC Security and Order Committee. Ensure that security personnel are present everywhere, from the cafeteria, entrances, entertainment venues and accommodation of foreign delegates and fans.

Cambodian security forces are ready to perform their duties anytime, anywhere at the 32nd SEA Games.

The representative of the 32nd SEA Games organizing committee emphasized the risks of conflicts between fan groups during the match. Mr. Vath Chamroeun added: "We need to provide full information about the competition venues, clearly understand what sensitive issues are, when they may occur, and have preventive measures and anticipation to limit risks. This is a very important point when hosting the SEA Games. Cambodia must ensure security at the highest level."

At the 32nd SEA Games, nearly 24,000 security personnel will be mobilized from many units. Among them are 13,003 national police, 5,091 military police, 2,888 members of the Guard Command, 346 members of the anti-terrorism force, 89 members of the explosives disposal team and many high-ranking officials and commanders.

Regarding health, Cambodia has selected 7 national standard hospitals to serve the Games, including: Techo Santepheap National Hospital, Calmette Hospital, Cambodia - China Friendship Hospital, Preah Kosomak, Khmer - Soviet Friendship Hospital, National Children's Hospital, Ang Duong Hospital and the National Center for Maternal and Child Health. In addition, at competition venues outside the capital Phnom Penh, medical staff are also ready to perform their duties. According to the announcement of the Cambodian Ministry of Health , there are 833 doctors and 114 ambulances serving the 32nd SEA Games.

Regarding the competition venues, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of CAMSOC-CAMAPGOC, Mr. Samdech Pich Sena Tea Banh directly surveyed on April 19. Assessing the preparation work, Mr. Samdech Pich Sena Tea Banh said: “Time is running out, all departments need to make efforts to check and ensure that the competition venues are clean and meet international standards. In general, everything is almost done, only cleaning, decoration, placing signs and logos remain.”
