This plan is built with the aim of promoting the potential advantages of Da Nang sea and Han river for developing tourism activities. Orienting the areas of water recreation activities to form and diversify types of tourism products and services, contributing to attracting tourists and serving local people; contributing to local economic development.
Along with that, the plan will contribute to enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in organizing water recreation and entertainment activities in coastal areas (including coastal areas of Son Tra peninsula) and the Han River area.
Accordingly, the plan clearly defines the types of vehicles that are allowed to operate. Specifically, motorized vehicles include: jet skis, parasailing canoes, banana boat-pulling canoes, windsurfing canoes, jet skis and some other motorized vehicles in accordance with regulations; inland waterway vehicles combined with sea tubing, diving, SUP, kayaking, etc.
Tourists enjoy experiencing non-motorized paragliding at Son Tra peninsula.
Non-motorized vehicles, including: windsurfing, kite surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, SUP, personal waterboards and some other non-motorized types as prescribed.
When put into use, these vehicles must ensure quality standards, technical safety and environmental protection in accordance with the provisions of law.
Orientation of water recreation areas includes: Along the coastal route of Hoang Sa - Vo Nguyen Giap - Truong Sa; along the coastal route of Nguyen Tat Thanh; along the coastal route of Hai Van Pass; along the coastal route of Son Tra Peninsula; Han River water area from Han River Bridge to Tran Thi Ly Bridge.
The implementation period of the plan is from 2025 to 2030. Depending on the actual situation during the implementation process, the needs of businesses, people or other legal regulations, the People's Committee of Da Nang City will consider supplementing and adjusting accordingly.
To effectively implement this plan, the People's Committee of Da Nang City requires relevant departments, branches and localities to ensure compliance and implementation according to the provisions of the law. The implementation process must ensure that it does not affect national defense and security. At the same time, it must preserve marine resources and biodiversity.
Require control of vehicles and activities according to regulations. Detect, correct and promptly guide organizations and individuals in complying with issued regulations. Limit negative impacts on the sea and Han River areas. Minimize to the lowest level the risk of affecting the health and life of visitors.
In addition, the orientation of underwater activity areas in coastal sea areas and the Han River area does not exclude the right to move vehicles related to purposes other than the purpose of underwater entertainment service business activities such as public activities, activities for research, conservation, community, event organization.../.
