Hoang Van Thu Political School has 48 cadres, civil servants and employees, including 41 teachers and staff. Mr. Nguyen Duc Quy, Party Secretary and Principal of the school, said: Determining the significance and importance of protecting the Party's ideological foundation in conjunction with the role and responsibility of the team of teachers and staff, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the school have directed the synchronous implementation of solutions to effectively carry out this task. Accordingly, the team of teachers and staff of the school has actively promoted and raised awareness among students about the role, significance and importance of protecting the Party's ideological foundation; participated in writing articles and scientific works with content to fight against wrong views; spread and share positive information...
In order to effectively implement Resolution No. 35 of the Politburo on “Strengthening the protection of the Party’s ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation” (referred to as Resolution 35), the school’s Party Committee has established a Steering Committee for the implementation of the Resolution, consisting of the school’s staff and teachers. This team has participated in activities to fight against erroneous and hostile views; share and spread positive information... On average, each year, the school’s staff and teachers share and spread over 800 positive information. Thereby creating a healthy environment, contributing to “diluting” bad and toxic information from hostile forces.
Through teaching, the school's teaching staff regularly disseminates the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, as well as integrates the content of Resolution 35 to students. Notably, this team participates in compiling the course material "Practical experience in building and developing localities", including a topic on protecting the Party's ideological foundation to convey to students. From 2023 to present, the school has organized and coordinated the implementation of 105 training and fostering classes for over 7,200 students.
Mr. Vi Tung Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union of the Provincial Party Committee, said: In 2023, I attended the A01-23 Intermediate Political Theory course. During the course, the lecturers taught me about the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation as well as fighting and refuting erroneous and hostile views in the new situation associated with the characteristics and situation of the province... Thereby, it helped me identify false information, raise awareness, and strengthen "resistance" to false information and arguments of hostile forces.
In addition, the school's staff actively participated in the Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation. The authors' articles are messages, issues, and content revolving around the current work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation. In 2023 and 2024, Hoang Van Thu Political School won a total of 10 provincial-level awards, including individuals who won high prizes with 1 A prize and 3 B prizes.
Lecturer Vu Thi Hau, Faculty of Party Building said: In 2024, I participated in the Political Essay Contest to Protect the Party's Ideological Foundation with the work "Ho Chi Minh Thought is the result of the creative application and development of Marxism-Leninism, not a copy of the original, forced application of Marxism-Leninism" and won the A prize at the provincial level. The article clarifies President Ho Chi Minh's application, supplementation and creative development of Marxism-Leninism in the Vietnamese revolutionary practice, smashing the arguments distorting the Party's ideological foundation by hostile forces, continuing to affirm the great values of Ho Chi Minh Thought for the revolutionary cause of the nation. This is also a source of documents for me to use in the teaching process, contributing to creating changes in the awareness and actions of students.
At the same time, every year, the school organizes scientific seminars, scientific research topics... with content related to the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation; the team of teachers and staff actively participates in writing articles for the column "Protecting the Party's ideological foundation" on the school's information page...
Ms. Nong Thi Thanh Tam, Head of the Propaganda Department (Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department), Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the Provincial Steering Committee 35, said: Along with the province's team of political theory lecturers, the team of teachers and staff of Hoang Van Thu Political School are active factors in the fight against erroneous and hostile views, spreading official information, firmly protecting the Party's foundation and ideology, contributing to the overall results of the province in implementing Resolution 35. This is also one of the units that received the excellent collective award in the 4th Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation in 2024.
The efforts of the staff of Hoang Van Thu Political School in protecting the Party's ideological foundation have contributed to raising the awareness and responsibility of cadres, party members and people, creating unity and consensus in implementing the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies, contributing to the successful completion of important tasks set out.
