The Khau Vai Phong Luu Market is unique and special because it only meets once a year. Because of its uniqueness and specialness, this market always evokes a sense of Khau Vai for locals and tourists. For many years, the Khau Vai Phong Luu Market Festival has been held at the district or provincial level with art performances and diverse experiential activities alongside traditional cultural activities of the local people, further increasing the appeal of this unique market.

The Mong people do not have a festival dedicated to the Mong flute, but for the past 10 years, the Mong flute festival organized by the People's Committee of Dong Van district has become a meeting place for many people in the Stone Plateau and tourists who love ethnic culture. Choosing the most unique cultural symbol of the ethnic group with the largest population in the Stone Plateau, Dong Van district wishes to build a festival where all ethnic groups in the district can attend, exchange, perform, creating an unforgettable impression for tourists when coming to this unique festival.
