Laos team equalized 3-3 against Indonesia
Just 5 minutes after Indonesia took a 3-2 lead, the Lao team equalized thanks to a goal by Peeter Phanthavong. Before that, Damoth Thongkhamsavath took advantage of an Indonesian defender's composure to win the ball and make an assist.
This was a move that caused a strong protest from the Indonesian players. The home team claimed that the ball was out of play before Thongkhamsavath passed it to his teammate. However, after consulting VAR, the referee did not change his decision.
The TV cameras did not clearly show whether the ball had completely crossed the end line. However, the assistant linesman had a good view of the situation.
