At the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024, Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group (Ministry of National Defense) introduced the "future soldier" outfit integrated with AI artificial intelligence with many advanced and modern combat support features, turning ordinary soldiers into fearsome warriors.
Currently, the world's superpowers are racing to research and manufacture future soldier uniforms with requirements such as providing the best protection for the user, integrating modern technology in communications as well as target orientation and excellent combat capabilities of personal super weapons. At the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024, Viettel Military Industry - Telecommunications Group (Ministry of National Defense) introduced the "future soldier" uniform that can turn ordinary soldiers into fearsome warriors.
Viettel's Future Soldier System is a platform that integrates smart weapons, collects, processes and exchanges information, and connects soldiers as part of the battlefield network.
In terms of configuration, the future soldier's uniform integrates a central processing device, enhanced vision, information connection, smart weapon systems, smart uniforms, and hierarchical connection interfaces, decentralization to command automation systems, unmanned vehicles UAV, UGV.
Outstanding features include: intelligent information exchange processing, situational awareness, real-time coordination, increased firepower and firepower accuracy, providing comprehensive protection, navigation, UAV, UGV, USV control and BMS battlefield management system connection.
According to Viettel's announcement, the future soldier's uniform also applies many advanced technologies such as: artificial intelligence AI to process smart information exchange, multi-channel information connection UHF, VHF, satellite, 5G private, smart weapons that automatically classify, identify targets, and accurately aim.
Combat uniforms are bulletproof, camouflaged, anti-radiation, anti-heat, thermo-regulating, observation, reconnaissance day and night with multi-channel and security for each user.
In addition, a group of young research engineers from the Infrared Optical Engineering Department, Institute of Technical Physics, also brought to the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 the head-mounted night vision devices HNVF01 and HNVF02.
The product applies two-channel image blending technology, combining low-light amplification and thermal imaging according to the principle of beam synthesis, bringing a completely new image blending mode that has never appeared in Vietnam. This technology was pioneered by the Infrared Optical Engineering Department, with the desire to bring a more modern observation device to the Vietnam People's Army.
HNVF01 and HNVF02 allow for clear observation of targets and backgrounds, even when there is a strong light source or the target is hidden in the grass, bushes or dense forests. Thanks to the use of thermal imaging equipment and low light amplification technology, users can observe effectively in low or complex light conditions. In particular, the device has also been improved to reduce the number of lenses, helping to reduce weight, increasing convenience for soldiers to easily carry.
The device has a compact, aesthetic, convenient design, suitable for use in special reconnaissance, border, rescue and combat missions in many different environments.
