
Reporting at the working session, in 2025, the Department of Industry and Trade achieved many outstanding results with 100% of administrative procedures provided online on the National Public Service Portal, integrating single login, contributing to significantly reducing time and costs for people and businesses.
The specialized data system is regularly updated on the Open Data Portal and Online Shopping Map, helping to increase transparency and support commercial infrastructure management.
Digital economic support programs such as livestreaming to introduce OCOP products, Digital Trade and Regional Connection Week, and many e-commerce skills training courses have created a strong ripple effect, helping hundreds of businesses and small traders expand their sales channels on digital platforms.
The Department maintains a stable IT infrastructure, ensuring that all workstations are connected to broadband internet. Network safety and security are seriously implemented with 100% of devices installed with copyrighted security software. 100% of officers and civil servants use specialized document management and digital signature software.
The Department of Industry and Trade pointed out difficulties such as the fragmented industry data system, many subsystems are incomplete, there are no analysis and forecasting tools; the level of business participation in digital platforms is still limited. Tasks such as digitizing, standardizing data or building a GIS system for the industry and trade sector require large resources, while the current budget does not meet the requirements.
Concluding the working session, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Quang Buu acknowledged the efforts of the Department of Industry and Trade; requested the unit to continue to complete specialized databases, accelerate the digitization of records and proactively coordinate with relevant agencies to connect and share interconnected data on the LGSP platform and the IOC Smart Operation Monitoring Center.
The Department of Industry and Trade carefully prepares the digital transformation project for the 2026 - 2030 period, ensuring feasibility, efficiency and consistency with the city's digital economic development goals. In particular, focusing on promoting cooperation in the form of public-private partnership (PPP), to optimize resources and improve the efficiency of implementing digital transformation projects.
The Department needs to regularly work with the digital transformation focal point of the Ministry of Industry and Trade , to bring the digital transformation model of the Da Nang industry and trade sector to be highly appreciated by the Ministry and replicated to other localities.
