1,200 business households in Phan Thiet ward are supported to convert lump-sum tax

More than 1,200 households and individuals doing business in Phan Thiet ward (Lam Dong) have been supported to convert to tax declaration.

Tax officials introduce new tax management models and methods

During 4 days (November 17-20), Phan Thiet Ward People's Committee coordinated with Lam Dong Base Tax 6 to organize a conference to propagate and guide the conversion of tax management models and methods for business households when eliminating lump-sum tax.

This activity aims to increase transparency in tax management; at the same time, help business households clearly understand their rights, obligations and implementation steps under the new tax management model.

At the Conference, Tax Department 6 disseminated information on: Declaration methods; disseminated new tax regulations applicable to business households and enterprises; analyzed the benefits of switching from lump-sum tax to declaration; provided instructions on conversion procedures and updated tax data in sync with the National Population Database.

At the same time, guide business people to use eTax Mobile, create electronic invoices and access tax incentives that are being applied...

Business households discuss issues related to newly applied tax regulations

The conference spent time on direct dialogue, answering many questions related to revenue declaration, invoicing and conversion process... Thereby, helping business households clearly understand the conversion roadmap, and be able to carry out procedures quickly and in accordance with regulations.

Phan Thiet ward currently has 2,231 business households paying taxes by the lump-sum method (as of November 4, 2025). This is the locality with the largest number of households paying lump-sum taxes among the 18 wards and communes managed by Tax Base 6.

According to the 6th Tax Base, the unit has assigned individual business groups to coordinate with the People's Committee of Phan Thiet Ward to organize 11 propaganda sessions to support business households in the area to convert from contract method to declaration according to the guidance of the tax authority.

At the same time, coordinate with the People's Committee of the commune, residential group, village, and neighborhood to provide information, instructions, and answer questions so that business households can clearly understand and carry out the conversion on time.
