Can Tho: More than 87% of candidates passed the 10th grade entrance exam

On June 15, the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City announced: In the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year, 9,704 candidates were admitted to grade 10 out of a total of 11,057 candidates registered for the exam, reaching a rate of 87.76%.

In addition, the city'seducation sector also announced the benchmark scores for grade 10 of 28 high schools in the city.

Accordingly, the standard score for the 2a wish to be admitted to schools with the highest admission score belongs to Chau Van Liem High School, with 21.30 points.

Next is Pedagogical Practice High School, Can Tho University, with 20.35 points; Nguyen Viet Hong High School, with 17.75 points...

For Ly Tu Trong High School for the Gifted, the admission score is considered for each specialized subject from 28.6 points to 38.05 points.

Of which, the English major has the highest admission score, with 38.05 points; followed by the Chemistry major, with 37.80 points...

Admission scores for grade 10 in schools for the 2025-2026 school year are lower than the previous school year. Some schools in districts far from the city have low admission scores, only from 6.80 to 7.0 points.

The new point of the exam is that the scores of the 3 exams (math, literature and foreign language) are not multiplied by the coefficient. High schools are allowed to consider additional admissions if the number of students coming to complete the admission procedures is less than the enrollment quota after the end of the admission procedure period.

This time, some high schools are recruiting students for French intensive classes, with lower admission scores.

According to the plan, successful candidates must complete admission procedures no later than 7 days after the results are announced.

Unsuccessful candidates must submit an appeal application to the school where they registered for the exam from June 15, 2025 to June 20, 2025.
