Traffic Police processed 2,447 applications for driver's license renewal after 1 month of receiving them.

Citizens apply for driver's license renewal at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center.

To implement Circular No. 12/2025/TT-BCA, dated February 28, 2025 of the Minister of Public Security regulating the Testing and issuance of driving licenses; issuance and use of international driving licenses, the Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police) has proactively advised the leaders of the Provincial Police to issue documents to implement according to the stages of receiving tasks.

In addition, the unit has promoted the use of the National Public Service Portal in the form of full-scale online level 4, creating many conveniences, saving time, and improving efficiency for people coming to carry out procedures for issuing and exchanging driving licenses.

Up to now, after 1 month of implementing the new task (from March 1 to March 29), the Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police) has received 2,447 applications for re-issuance and exchange of driving licenses (1,696 applications partially through public services, 751 applications online through the National Public Service Portal); of which, 84 applications were received through the Commune-level Police. 100% of the applications have been processed, resolved and data sent to the Traffic Police Department.

The unit also received applications from 7,489 candidates eligible to take the Driving License Test (including 5,537 applications for cars and 1,952 applications for motorcycles) from the Testing Centers and the Department of Construction.
