To date, Lam Dong Forest Protection Department has issued 191 codes for facilities raising and artificially cultivating endangered, precious, and rare wild animals and plants in the area. Of these, 5 facilities raise endangered, precious, and rare wild plants, mainly hybrid Phalaenopsis orchids. And 186 facilities raise endangered, precious, and rare wild animals (17 facility codes have been revoked according to regulations), the remaining 169 facilities raise 5,353 individuals of 11 species of palm civet, palm civet, chevrotain, cobra, krait, giant tortoise, African spurred tortoise, toothed turtle, ground python, reticulated python.

In addition, the competent agency has received 10 cases of people voluntarily handing over 18 endangered, precious and rare wild animals such as: giant tortoise, Java pangolin, dwarf loris, reticulated python, pig-tailed macaque, small-clawed otter, red-faced monkey...
