Cathay Pacific increases flights from Vietnam to Hong Kong

Cathay Pacific has just announced an increase in flight frequency from Vietnam to Hong Kong, and organized the Cathay Travel Fair 2025 event in Ho Chi Minh City to promote tourism.

From October 10 to 12, Cathay Pacific airline organized the Cathay Travel Fair event - Discover Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ms. Dao Hoang Hai Linh - Sales Director of Cathay Pacific Vietnam said that the airline is operating 24 round-trip flights per week from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Hong Kong, and will increase the frequency to 30 flights per week from October 26 to meet the growing travel demand between the two markets. In addition, the airline is also operating 49 flights per week from Hanoi, Da Nang and Phu Quoc to Hong Kong.

"Hong Kong is a major aviation hub in the region. This increase in flights not only helps shorten connection time but also expands tourism , trade and cultural exchange opportunities between the two sides," Ms. Linh shared.

According to a Cathay Pacific representative, the airline's network now covers more than 100 global destinations, with many new routes being added in 2025, such as Xinjiang, Delhi, Munich, and Dallas (USA). "The Dallas-Hong Kong route, which only opened in April 2025, has increased its daily flight frequency since October, demonstrating the strong demand for connections between Hong Kong and major US gateways," Ms. Linh added.
