On the occasion of Europe Day (9/5), the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Vietnam introduces to the public the art program “CHAM Show” - an artistic journey through music and visual arts, where the European spirit meets Vietnamese identity. The program will take place at 8:00 p.m. on 9/5 at the Hanoi Opera House.

Following the imprint of the contemporary ballet “Do” organized by the EU Delegation, “CHAM Show” opens up a space of artistic intersection - where music and culture meet in depth, diversity and dialogue.

Staged with many layers of intention from classic symphonies to lyrical songs and vibrant European rock, the music in “CHAM Show” becomes the main stream, combined with contemporary visual art to lead the audience into stories of rich Vietnamese culture.

Inspired by the length of the country - from the colorful North, the gentle Central region to the vibrant South - the program recreates the beauty of Vietnamese culture through meticulously created stage images, where light, movement and visual structures tell stories bearing the imprint of the three regions.

Combined with Western music performed by Vietnamese artists, the program evokes a subtle blend between East and West, between classical depth and contemporary sensibility - creating a space where materials resonate and open up an artistic experience that is both consistent and multi-layered.

The program will feature Vietnamese artists such as Dao To Loan, Pham Anh Khoa, Hong Duong, Tri Minh, Meritorious Artist Phan Luong, flute artist Duy Minh... The music directors of “CHAM Show” are musicians Luu Ha An and Vu Huy.

According to EU Ambassador to Vietnam Julien Guerrier, in a world of many changes, art can be the most sustainable connection, overcoming language, history or differences. Therefore, “CHAM Show” is a living symbol of cultural exchange, where Vietnamese stories are told in the language of European art, and European values find a new voice through the heartbeat of Vietnam.

“We are proud to introduce to Vietnamese audiences the subtle nuances of European music, while honoring the talent and creativity of Vietnamese artists - who are affirming their position in the global art scene. I believe that the program will be a memorable milestone in the journey of cultural connection between the European Union and Vietnam,” said Ambassador Julien Guerrier./.
