Rectifying the work of preserving the Nguyen Dynasty Throne and national treasures

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Hue City People's Committee to urgently inspect and assess the technical condition of the treasure, propose a plan for preservation and restoration in accordance with regulations. At the same time, organize a review and handle the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals, prevent the incident from recurring, and report to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism before June 1, 2025.

In addition, the People's Committee of Hue City is required to conduct a comprehensive review, strengthen management, and protect the safety of relics, antiquities, and national treasures at the Hue Monuments Complex. It is necessary to proactively develop plans to prevent, detect early, and promptly handle acts of heritage infringement, while promoting propaganda and raising public awareness.

On the side of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism , the Deputy Prime Minister assigned the task of reviewing and evaluating the work of protecting, displaying and preserving national treasures nationwide; strengthening measures to ensure absolute safety for valuable artifacts, and reporting to the Prime Minister before June 15, 2025.
