Accordingly, in order to have raw materials for tea production, in addition to the raw material area of more than 1 hectare in Huu Lung district, the company also purchases old stems, branches, and leaves of the Bo Khai plant from local people. In 2024, the company purchased over 1 ton of raw materials from local people inside and outside the district at a price of 20,000 VND/kg fresh and from 50,000 to 55,000 VND/kg dry. Since the beginning of 2025, the company has purchased more than 300 kg of raw materials.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Chien, Ba Leng village, Huu Lien commune, Huu Lung district said: My family has about 7 sao of rau bo khai intercropped in the garden area along the limestone mountain. If in the past, the old stems and leaves after pruning were often discarded, from 2024 until now, I have chopped them up, dried them and sold them to LAB NATURE Vietnam Co., Ltd. Thanks to that, in addition to the income from selling rau bo khai shoots, my family also has additional income from selling old branches and leaves to produce tea.

In fact, the bo khai plant has a rather distinctive taste that not everyone likes. However, when the bo khai ingredient is combined with other herbs such as: Moc flower, Lo Han, pandan leaves, cogon grass, longan... it will create a product with a light, refreshing aroma that is easy to drink.

Also with the raw material of the Khai Son plant, in addition to the Khai Son Tea product, LAB NATURE Vietnam Co., Ltd. also continues to research and launch additional products such as: jelly, herbal water and Khai Son wine. The company's products have prices ranging from 30,000 VND to 195,000 VND/product. Currently, the products all have a stable consumer market. In particular, the company's products have been sold in a number of stores and supermarkets in a number of provinces and cities such as: Hanoi , Hai Phong, Ninh Binh... In 2024, the company has sold over 10,000 products of all kinds to the market.

Initially, I ordered 2 boxes to try. After using it, I found the product good for health, easy to drink, and has a very unique herbal flavor, so I often order it for my family to drink together. In addition to tea, I also ordered Khai Son jelly products to enjoy. My family members all love the unique flavor of the product.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh, Deputy Head of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Van Quan district, said: With the main raw material source from the province's specialty rau bo khai plant, LAB NATURE Vietnam Co., Ltd. has researched and produced Khai Son tea and some other products. This is the first enterprise in Van Quan district to invest in producing tea from the rau bo khai plant. The product has a lot of development potential, and the district's professional department is currently guiding the company to complete the application to participate in the evaluation of the OCOP program in 2025. From there, it will contribute to building the brand and expanding the product consumption market.
