Public investment disbursement rate by May reached 18.6%

On the afternoon of May 21, Mr. Tran Hoa Nam - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to a report on the disbursement of public investment capital up to May.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

According to the report of the Department of Finance, in 2025, the total capital plan assigned by the Prime Minister to the province is 10,095.925 billion VND. The Provincial People's Committee has allocated a capital plan of 8,710.715 billion VND; the unallocated capital is 1,385.21 billion VND. By the beginning of May, the actual capital disbursed at the State Treasury was more than 1,616 billion VND, compared to the plan assigned by the Government, reaching a rate of 16%, higher than the national average (15.56%); compared to the actual capital assigned by the province (excluding the source of unissued local government bonds), the disbursement rate reached 18.6%... Currently, there are still 13 units with low disbursement, or even no disbursement; 19 units have not registered the disbursement plan according to the target assigned by the province; and 22 projects are still stuck in site clearance.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam requested that units still having difficulties in early disbursement submit reports directly to the Department of Finance for resolution; requested the Department of Finance to assign the June disbursement plan to each unit. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam noted that units receiving additional capital need to have a plan for implementation. Investors and localities should proactively coordinate in site clearance; in the second week of June, localities should develop a form on site clearance, showing what has been done and what has not been done. The Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Department of Finance will arrange a meeting to agree on a plan for the Provincial People's Committee to work with districts on implementing capital disbursement according to plan.
