Commander of An Giang Provincial Military Command inspects units on the border line

The delegation included Colonel Huynh Van Khoi, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee.

The delegation inspected the results of the implementation of the tasks at the Defense Command of Area 1 - Long Phu, Regiment 892 and Team K93 - Political Department.

Speaking at the inspection, Colonel Nguyen Van Nganh, Commander of the An Giang Provincial Military Command, commended and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, proactiveness, flexibility, and overcoming of initial difficulties after implementing two-level administration of the units in performing assigned tasks.

Colonel Nguyen Van Nganh said that after implementing a two-level local government, An Giang province has an important strategic position in the defense of Military Region 9, especially the long border with Cambodia.

Colonel Nguyen Van Nganh requested the Defense Command of Region 1 - Long Phu and units stationed on the border to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement combat training orders from commanders at all levels, and strictly maintain combat readiness.

Promote and implement democratic regulations well, grasp the situation on the border, proactively coordinate with forces to maintain patrols and controls; strengthen propaganda and mobilize people in border areas to strictly comply with the State's laws and regulations on border management and protection.
