Many localities across the country have completed organizing the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year. Currently, 4 provinces and cities have announced the exam scores, including: Bac Lieu , Lai Chau, Quang Tri and Dien Bien.
Of which, Bac Lieu was the earliest province to announce the exam results on the evening of June 3. Lai Chau and Quang Tri provinces also announced the exam results on June 8, Dien Bien on June 9, earlier than previously scheduled.
Along with the exam scores, Lai Chau also announced the admission scores. This is also the first province in the country to have the admission results for grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year.
It is expected that this week, more provinces and cities will announce exam scores and benchmark scores for grade 10 admission in the 2025-2026 school year.

The 10th grade exam for the 2025-2026 school year is the first year of enrollment under the new general education program. According to the regulations on enrollment for junior high school and high school issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, there are 3 methods of enrollment for grade 10: entrance exam, admission review, or a combination of entrance exam and admission review. The selection of the enrollment method is under the authority of the locality.
Regarding the entrance exam method, the Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that there will be 3 subjects and exams, including: Math, Literature and a third subject or exam selected by the Department of Education and Training. The third subject is selected from among the subjects assessed by scores in the general education program at the secondary school level, ensuring that the same subject is not selected for more than 3 consecutive years.
This year, most provinces and cities organize entrance exams for grade 10 with three subjects: Math, Literature, and English.
