Quang Nam launches 90 days and nights to clean up marriage data

(QNO) - The People's Committee of Quang Nam province has launched a peak period of "90 days and nights to clean up marriage data, and at the same time implement the reduction of administrative procedures for confirming marital status throughout the province".

This is considered a key campaign, contributing to realizing the goal of administrative reform, increasing transparency and improving the effectiveness of state management under the direction of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Justice and the Supreme People's Court.

The peak period takes place from June 6 to August 31, 2025, focusing on synchronizing, digitizing and cleaning marriage and divorce data on the Electronic Civil Status Database.

This data will be closely linked to the National Population Database, creating the premise for integrating information into the national electronic identification application VNeID. Thanks to that, people no longer have to worry about presenting a marriage status certificate when carrying out administrative procedures - an important step towards a digital, convenient and transparent society.

The campaign is divided into three phases. The first phase (from June 6 to 10) focuses on implementing technical tasks, including connecting systems, digitizing and cleaning up marriage data. The second phase (from June 10 to 30) will standardize and synchronize information from the civil status system and courts to the National Population Database. The third phase (from July 1 to August 31) will officially apply synchronized marriage data to replace certificates in administrative procedures.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Justice to preside over cleaning up marriage data; the Provincial People's Court digitized divorce judgments; the Provincial Police established a working group to handle difficulties and support data authentication on VNeID.

The Department of Science and Technology reviews and adjusts the process of cutting down procedures; at the same time, coordinates with telecommunications enterprises to widely disseminate information via SMS messages to the people.

The “90-day-night” campaign is not only a breakthrough in reducing paperwork and shortening administrative procedure processing time, but also contributes to improving the quality of “correct, sufficient, clean, and live” data. This is a solid foundation for modern state management, effectively supporting the province’s socio -economic development.
