Narrowing the gap in e-commerce development
Digital transformation for small traders is one of the solutions oriented in the Government's National E-commerce Development Plan for the 2025-2030 period. The main goal of this strategy is to narrow the development gap between regions, especially helping small traders in traditional markets have the opportunity to access digital technology and participate in the e-commerce ecosystem. According to Decision No. 645/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, the National E-commerce Development Plan for the 2021-2025 period also emphasizes the implementation of digital transformation support programs for small and medium enterprises, including small traders and individual business households.
The application of digital transformation and e-commerce not only helps small traders expand their sales channels and reach a wider market, but also reduces operating costs, improves work efficiency, and improves customer satisfaction. Through e-commerce platforms and social networks, small traders can reach customers not only domestically but also internationally, thereby increasing revenue and profits. In addition, the application of technology helps manage inventory, orders, and finances more effectively, minimize errors, and save time.
Digital transformation also helps small traders quickly grasp consumer trends, thereby making reasonable business decisions. More importantly, it creates equal business opportunities for small traders, whether in remote areas or big cities, contributing to eliminating geographical distance in participating in the digital economy . Digital transformation is not only a necessity but also a great opportunity for small traders, helping them develop sustainably and integrate strongly into the modern e-commerce market.
