New details and images of Xpeng's 2025 P7 sedan have emerged, and as previously leaked images show, it stands out from any other electric vehicle currently on the market.

Although sedan sales are not what they used to be, models like the Xiaomi SU7 and the new Xpeng P7 prove that there is still a lot of customer interest.

The exterior design of the 2025 Xpeng P7 sedan feels like a deliberate change, with details that seem to be reminiscent of the Tesla Cybertruck. The front end features a sharp LED strip that stretches across the entire width, flanked by vertical daytime running lights that make for a striking first impression.

At the rear, the styling continues with a synchronous light strip, vertically stacked taillights, and a curved rear glass that replaces the conventional trunk lid structure. In terms of dimensions, the sedan is 197.5 inches (5,017 mm) long, 77.6 inches (1,970 mm) wide, and 56.2 inches (1,427 mm) tall, with a 118.4-inch (3,008 mm) wheelbase.

Perhaps more interesting than the P7's exterior is the interior, which is revealed for the first time in these new photos. The 2025 Xpeng P7 sedan features a massive 87-inch augmented reality head-up display similar to the one found on Xiaomi's recently launched G7 SUV.

The special three-spoke sports steering wheel with rotary buttons in the style commonly found on Mercedes-AMG cars allows for instant change of several modes and functions.

Contributing to the high-tech atmosphere, special attention is paid to the interior ambient lighting system, while the central infotainment screen is mounted on a panel that is tilted towards the driver.

A slim digital instrument cluster sits just behind the steering wheel, and the bucket-style sports seats feature active side bolsters that inflate to hold the driver in place during hard cornering, a feature commonly found on some high-end German performance cars.

The 2025 Xpeng P7 sedan will come with two battery options: a 74.9 kWh pack and a larger 92.92 kWh version. The standard configuration uses a single rear-mounted electric motor, producing 362 horsepower.
7-3496.jpg
For those looking for more traction and performance, the all-wheel drive system adds a 224-horsepower front electric motor, bringing the total output to 586 horsepower. Xpeng is aiming for competitive range across the entire lineup.

The base model promises up to 436 miles (702 km) on a single charge. Opting for the long-range rear-wheel drive version bumps the range to 509 miles (820 km), while the dual-motor all-wheel drive version still gets an impressive 466 miles (750 km).

While specific charging times have yet to be confirmed, Xpeng says the P7 sedan will support the same 5C fast charging standard as the G7 SUV. This means that just 10 minutes of charging can provide up to 271 miles (436 km) of additional range. Pricing for the 2025 Xpeng P7 has yet to be revealed.
