Former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has decided to join Harvard University

ABC said that Ms. Jacinda Ardern became Prime Minister of New Zealand in 2017 at the age of 37. Over the past time, she has become an inspiration for women around the world .

The 42-year-old former prime minister shocked New Zealanders by announcing her resignation and retirement from politics in early 2023, after more than five years leading the country.

She also gave an emotional farewell speech to the New Zealand Parliament on April 5, after steering the country through the COVID-19 pandemic and the terrorist attack in Christchurch in 2019.

In her final speech to the New Zealand Parliament, former Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern thanked her family, friends and MPs, and urged politicians to take action on climate.

She also stressed that being “tough” was not the only sign of a good leader. “You can be anxious, sensitive, kind and have a hard time hiding your emotions. Whether you are a mother or not… you can be a leader,” Ms Ardern said.
