(CLO) On the morning of December 21, in Hanoi , the exhibition "Paintings of Love" displayed paintings and sculptures by prisoners at Thanh Cam Prison (Cam Thanh, Cam Thuy, Thanh Hoa). This is the result of the "Xoe Forest" art group coming to interact and guide prisoners in their creations for 2 days, December 14-15.
Participating in "Xoe Forest 6" and the exhibition "Painting of Love" are nearly 40 multidisciplinary artists from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Thanh Hoa and several other provinces.
This art activity was approved by Department C10 ( Ministry of Public Security ), especially the active material and spiritual support of the Board of Supervisors of Thanh Cam Prison, Thanh Hoa. During the 2 days of eating and sleeping at Thanh Cam Prison, there were many art activities and connecting activities taking place. Including artists and prisoners painting together, creating small statues together.

There were two art festivals on the evening of the 14th and the morning of the 15th, with the participation of artists from "Xoe Forest 6", prison officers and especially singers who are serving their sentences at Thanh Cam prison.
The exhibition and performance activities attracted a large audience, including about 1,000 prisoners and police officers of the camp.
After 2 days of creation, the artist group "Xoè Forest 6" had 130 paintings of various sizes, 110 small sculptures, and 8 propaganda posters to give back to the prison.
"Xoe Forest 6" donated more than 1,000 books on literature, music, painting, architecture... to contribute to the formation of an art bookshelf at Thanh Cam Prison.

At the exhibition "Paintings of Love", works by prisoners will also be sold, with the aim of helping prisoners buy small gifts to send to relatives and family on the occasion of the New Year 2025.
A representative of the "Rung Xoè" group said that the artists participating in the project not only contributed their efforts but also contributed funds. "We hope that the community will join hands to contribute. This is a very valuable contribution that is necessary for the group to go further with projects serving the community," the group representative added.
The exhibition runs until December 31, 2024 at Hanoi Railway Station, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
