Specifically, on the Hanoi - Vinh route, the railway industry stopped running train NA1 departing from Hanoi station at 9:50 p.m. and train NA2 departing from Vinh station at 9:30 p.m. On the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route, the railway industry stopped running train SE9 departing from Hanoi station at 12:50 p.m.
Passengers who have purchased tickets for the above trains can have their tickets refunded at railway stations, free of charge, within 30 days from the date the train stops running.
The Ministry of Construction has requested the Vietnam Railway Authority and Vietnam Railway Corporation to direct units to increase patrols and guard posts at key works and locations such as bridges, roads prone to flooding, steep mountain passes, areas at risk of flash floods and landslides; prepare plans to stop trains, stretch trains, increase trains or transfer passengers when flooding or landslides occur, ensuring absolute safety for people and vehicles.
* The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam said that on August 25, Tho Xuan Airport will temporarily suspend operations from 4:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Dong Hoi Airport will temporarily suspend operations from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
