The largest fish market in Da Nang and the Central region is bustling with people on the 30th of Tet. Shrimp, crab, fish... from here spread to other markets, serving the needs of people during Tet.

According to Dan Viet reporters, a large number of traders and people flocked to the fish market from early morning. The atmosphere of the fish market at Tho Quang Fishing Port and Port (Son Tra District, Da Nang City) on the last day of the year was very bustling and crowded, everyone was racing against time to quickly finish the market on the last day of the year.

This is the largest fish market in Da Nang and the Central region because it gathers many boats of fishermen from the Central region, leaving and returning to the port with a large amount of aquatic and seafood products.

The types of seafood that traders and people choose to buy for Tet are mostly mackerel, tuna, cobia, squid, etc.

Traders said that in recent days, many fishing boats have docked, so the amount of seafood at the market has increased, but prices are relatively stable, with no sudden price increases.

Through the survey, mackerel weighing less than 3.5kg/fish costs from 240,000 - 250,000 VND/kg, those weighing over 3.5kg cost from 280,000 - 300,000 VND/kg; beef tuna (over 2kg) costs from 100,000 - 110,000 VND/kg; striped tuna (over 3kg) costs from 60,000 - 80,000 VND/kg. Cobia costs from 180,000 - 200,000 VND/kg; black pomfret weighing over 800gr costs from 150,000 - 160,000 VND/kg; 25cm tube squid/piece from 300,000-320,000 VND/kg, rice squid price from 140,000 - 160,000 VND/kg.

According to the Tho Quang Fishing Port and Boat Management Board, from February 1 to 7, the number of fishing vessels and vehicles operating at the Tho Quang fishing port and seafood wholesale market was more than 2,170, including 167 fishing vessels and 2,006 cars. The output of seafood through the port was more than 360.6 tons, of which the output transported by fishing vessels was 150 tons and by cars was 210.4 tons.

The market starts bustlingly from 3am and ends around 6am the same day.

Traders buy fish at the market and transport it to markets to serve people's demand for fish at markets during Tet holiday.
