In each different situation, each teacher at each level has a way to show responsibility for their profession. From the classrooms in the center to the classrooms in the highlands, teachers always persistently accompany students, creating simple but meaningful stories, contributing to the formation of the core values of the industry.
From stories that touch the heart
Teachers are not only the ones who impart knowledge but also the spiritual support and source of encouragement for students to overcome the most vulnerable moments of their youth. At Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, teacher Vi Minh Hien is a typical example. Her exemplary role is not demonstrated by strictness or demanding requirements, but by her patient attitude and the way she listens to her students about their personal stories. Many students come to her to confide in her about the pressure of grades, self-esteem or the hidden worries of adolescence. In each case, Ms. Hien does not rush to judge but lets the students speak for themselves, then helps them identify the problem and find ways to overcome it.
It was that silent journey that became the material for students to make the video "Rubik's Cube and Teacher", the work that won first prize in the "Teachers in My Eyes" contest for the 2024-2025 school year. In the video, students compared Ms. Vi Minh Hien to someone who helps "rearrange the tangled Rubik's cube pieces of youth", a simple image but accurately reflects her role in untangling each psychological knot for students. The value of the work does not lie in the award but in the message it conveys: sometimes, what students need most is understanding and timely trust from teachers to find their way back.
With that same empathy, teacher Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thuy at Huu Lung High School has become a support for a female student who used to have an inferiority complex about her appearance and life. Instead of scolding, she chose to accompany her, from after-school conversations to guiding her to participate in small activities to regain her confidence. Her transformation, from a student who avoided eye contact to a girl who dared to stand on stage, is a convincing proof of the effectiveness of education with heart. The story "Journey to find happiness" by Vu Hoang Thao Ly (grade 12 student, school year 2023-2024) written for Ms. Thuy is not only a word of gratitude, but also reflects how a teacher can open the door of spirit for a student who is struggling to find a place in the group. The work won first prize in the "Teachers in My Eyes" contest organized by the Vietnam Education Trade Union in the school year 2023-2024.

In boarding schools in the highlands, the "heart" of teachers is shown through very specific actions. At Kien Moc Ethnic Boarding Secondary School, teachers not only teach but also guide students in daily living habits: folding blankets, maintaining personal hygiene, and arranging study and break times. These seemingly simple things are the foundation for students living far from home to gain discipline and confidence in a new environment. For students like Vuong Thi Thu (grade 6), the thoughtfulness and closeness of teachers create a sense of security, helping her consider school as her second home. Thu shared that the guidance from teachers, from maintaining daily routines to organizing study time, helped her feel less confused and more confident when living far from home.
Such stories, though small, brighten the image of teachers not only in the eyes of students but also in the family and community. Because the love students have for teachers cannot be built without dedication, patience and compassion. Here, the word "Heart" is not an abstract concept, but a concrete action, repeated every day, which is the foundation for preserving the value of the teaching profession in all circumstances.
To changes in quality
The dedication of the teaching staff is not only seen through each lesson or touching story, but also clearly shown in the vast changes in the province's education over the past years. These changes are the result of perseverance, innovation and responsibility, qualities that can be seen from the small classrooms but have a strong impact on the overall development of the whole industry.
Emulation movements such as “Innovation and creativity in management, teaching and learning”, “Building friendly schools, active students”, “Green - clean - beautiful - safe”, “Happy schools” have created a widespread influence. More importantly, these movements do not stop at slogans but become criteria for each school and each teacher to self-reflect and improve.

Along with that, the campaign “Each teacher is a model of morality, self-study and creativity” has helped the teaching staff promote their sense of responsibility and proactively innovate teaching methods to meet the requirements of the new general education program. These changes have contributed significantly to maintaining the quality of mass education, while key education has continuously recorded high achievements.
Over the past 5 years, the province has had 10,280 students winning provincial prizes; 105 students winning national prizes with 2 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 30 third prizes and 68 consolation prizes. Behind these numbers are the efforts of teachers who train the team, who spend hundreds of extra hours with student groups, reviewing each exercise, each small mistake to help them be confident before the exam. This is a clear demonstration of the role of the teaching staff in creating sustainable changes in the industry.
In addition, the quality of mass education has also improved when the high school graduation rate has been maintained at over 98% for many consecutive years, reaching 99.08% in 2025, the highest level ever. This number reflects the continuous efforts of teachers in both favorable and disadvantaged areas. In mountainous communes, to maintain the number of students, teachers have to go to each house to encourage students to return to class. In central areas, teachers have to increase tutoring and tutoring so that no student is left behind. Students' achievements are the result of late review sessions and extra teaching hours that are not included in the timetable but have great significance for disadvantaged students.
Along with learning outcomes, school facilities in the area have received strong investment. The rate of schools meeting national standards increased from 49.4% in 2020 to 63.5% in 2025, helping the educational environment become more spacious and modern. In many schools in difficult areas, temporary classrooms have been replaced by solid buildings; boarding areas have been invested to ensure students' living conditions. These conditions not only improve the quality of teaching, but also motivate teachers to dedicate themselves with peace of mind.
Emulation and reward work has received due attention with 540 teachers achieving the title of excellent teachers at the provincial level (junior high school and high school levels) in the period 2020 - 2025; 16 teachers were awarded the title of "Excellent Teacher". This is a satisfactory recognition of the efforts of the teaching staff, the force that directly builds the quality and image of the industry.
These achievements not only reflect the effectiveness of the right policies but also show the irreplaceable role of teachers. From small classes, teachers have created solid bricks for the development of the industry: forging each skill, shaping each stroke, cultivating each quality, and awakening each dream. Students today are more confident, more proactive, and more courageous in the face of new learning requirements, and in that maturity there is always the shadow of teachers.
It can be affirmed that the educational results achieved in recent times all originate from the word "Heart", the core value that helps teachers maintain their courage, impartiality and responsibility towards their students. When each teacher strives to improve themselves, when each classroom becomes an environment that encourages students to strive, local education will continue to maintain a stable direction and create a solid foundation for the journey of maturity of the young generation. That is the most lasting, silent but meaningful contribution that the teaching staff sends back to their homeland.
