Giap Dong residential group (Kim Tra ward, Hue city) located along the Bo river is one of the areas heavily flooded during each flood. On the afternoon of November 21, a large number of people gathered at the Giap Dong Residential Group's community cultural house, together sorting and packaging necessities including clothes, rice, instant noodles, candy, and drinking water to load onto trucks in preparation to send to the flood-affected areas.
Mr. Tran Dinh Thang (58 years old, Giap Dong group) said that during the recent flood, his house was flooded half a meter deep, and his belongings were damaged. Having been surrounded by floodwaters for many days, he understands the poverty of people in the flood-affected areas: " Thinking about the people lacking food, I and everyone joined hands to donate and send our feelings to the people of Dak Lak who are suffering huge damage and loss due to the floods ."

During the recent flood, the family of Mrs. Tran Thi Diep (60 years old, resident of Giap Dong Residential Group) also suffered heavy damage when the water was more than 1.5m deep, more than 200 bags of rice were soaked in water.
However, when she heard that people were donating and supporting people in the flood-hit areas of the South Central region, she also hurriedly joined in: " Everyone has suffered losses from the floods, but compared to the people in there, it is nothing. I sympathize with the people, hoping that everyone will promote the spirit of mutual love and help each other overcome difficulties ."

Mr. Duong Vinh Thanh - Head of the Front Work Committee of Giap Dong Residential Group said that the call for support for people in the flood-hit areas of the South Central region started on the morning of November 20. In just a short time, the group collected 3 tons of rice, 600 boxes of instant noodles, candy, drinks, clothes, etc.
My Xa village (Quang Dien commune, Hue city) is also one of the localities heavily affected by 4 consecutive floods. However, seeing the people in the flood-prone areas of the South Central Coast struggling in the rain and floods, the people of My Xa together contributed more than 2 tons of rice, 436 boxes of instant noodles of all kinds... and 14,650,000 VND to send to Dak Lak on November 22 to support the people.

In addition, many localities, organizations and individuals in Hue City are also organizing campaigns and donating goods to support provinces heavily affected by floods.
