Dak Lak province's businesses support flood victims with nearly 1.7 billion VND

Heavy rains in recent days have caused flooding in many localities in the province, isolating people in some places and lacking necessities. In order to promptly support people in difficulty due to natural disasters, business associations in the area have quickly called on businesses and entrepreneurs to join hands to contribute human and financial resources to support.

Accordingly, business associations, businessmen and enterprises have supported and mobilized organizations and individuals inside and outside the province to support cash and goods with a total value of nearly 1.7 billion VND.

In particular, the Provincial Business Association mobilized units and individuals to contribute necessities with a total value of nearly 626 million VND (including: instant noodles, drinking water, clothes, food...).

The Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association has supported and mobilized donations of more than 500 million VND (of which cash: 357 million VND; the rest is in kind).

The Provincial Business Association has supported and mobilized donations of more than 340 million VND (including 320 million VND in cash and many necessities worth 20 million VND).

The Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association has supported and mobilized donations of nearly 200 million VND (including 75 million VND in cash; nearly 20,000 bottles of mineral water (worth 52.5 million VND); mobilized 100 workers to wrap 1.2 tons of banh chung and banh tet (total value of nearly 70 million VND)).

At the same time, they continue to call for and mobilize funds and goods to support people in flooded areas.

This is a noble and practical gesture as well as the support of businessmen and enterprises in the province to promptly contribute to supporting people who are suffering heavy losses from storms, floods and natural disasters.
