Coast Guard Region 2 supports Gia Lai people to overcome flood consequences

DNO - Faced with heavy rain causing deep flooding in many areas in Gia Lai province, the Command of Coast Guard Region 2 urgently coordinated with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee to organize forces to go to Tuy Phuoc commune to visit and support people.

On November 21, the Coast Guard Region 2 Command mobilized 40 officers and soldiers along with mobile vehicles, divided into working groups to approach each deeply flooded and isolated household in Tuy Phuoc commune.

Here, the delegation supported 20 families that suffered heavy losses, each with 2 million VND along with essential necessities such as dry food, canned meat, bread, drinking water, etc. to help people stabilize their lives soon.

Currently, officers and soldiers of Coast Guard Region 2 continue to coordinate with local authorities to overcome damage caused by floods and transport goods and relief gifts to deeply flooded areas.
