Viettel subscriber wins jackpot of over 25 billion VND

On the evening of March 15, Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) - Ministry of Finance confirmed that there was a Jackpot winning ticket in the 1,172nd draw of Mega 6/45 product. The lucky ticket that won the jackpot worth more than 25 billion VND had the number set: 09 - 11 - 16 - 29 - 31 - 33.

Responding to VTC News, a Vietlott representative said that the jackpot winner is a subscriber of the Viettel mobile network.

Thus, after deducting personal income tax according to regulations, the owner of the lucky ticket will actually receive about more than 22.6 billion VND.

Previously, on February 29, Mr. D.H (living in Ho Chi Minh City) also received the jackpot prize of the Mega 6/45 product worth nearly 56 billion VND. Mr. H. is a VinaPhone subscriber.

Mr. H.'s winning numbers are 04 - 17 - 19 - 27 - 28 - 36. Mr. H. is from Lam Dong province and currently lives in Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. H. shared that he bought lottery tickets while hanging out with friends on the first days of the new year. That day, he bought 1 series of Mega 6/45 numbers and 2 series of Power 6/55 numbers. This is Mr. H.'s habit of buying lottery tickets, each time he only buys a few tickets to hope for luck.

While on the road, Mr. H. received a text message notifying him of a prize. Mr. H. only thought he had won a small prize because he had previously often won prizes of 30,000 VND or 50,000 VND.

He then opened his phone and saw that the number was longer than usual, so he suspected that he had won a big prize. However, because he was on the road, he put his phone away to check when he got home.

When he got home, he carefully read the message, checked the Vietlott website and received a call from a Vietlott representative before he believed he had won the Jackpot of nearly 56 billion VND.

He plans to use the prize money to expand his business, take care of his family and partly invest in real estate.

After receiving the award, Mr. H. donated 660 million VND to Tam Tai Viet Fund to carry out social security activities.

Vietlott's biggest prize to date is the Jackpot 1 prize of the Power 6/55 product worth more than 303.8 billion VND. This prize was awarded to a lucky player in Hanoi in 2018.
