Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Van Son: Thai Binh Commune Party Committee needs to focus on leading comprehensive economic development and improving people's lives.

On the morning of August 4, the Thai Binh Commune Party Committee held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the Congress were comrades: Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Thi Minh Xuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ma Thi Thuy, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

In the 2020-2025 term, in the context of particularly difficult domestic and world economies, epidemics, and unusual climate developments, with the spirit of solidarity and high unity of the entire political system, cadres, party members and people of the three communes of Thai Binh , Phu Thinh, and Tien Bo, important and comprehensive results have been achieved, basically completing the goals set out in the Resolution of the Congress for the term.

The congress has the theme "Promoting the strength of national solidarity; strengthening the building of a clean and strong Party and political system; innovating, creating, promoting the application of science and technology in production; bringing Thai Binh commune to comprehensive and sustainable development". By 2030, the Party Committee of the commune has set 15 main targets, including: The average product value in the area will reach 12.5%, the average income per capita will reach 95 million VND/year, and the budget revenue will reach 5 billion VND.

The Party Committee identified 3 key tasks; 2 breakthroughs are applying science, developing forestry economy towards increasing crop productivity, deep processing technology, enhancing the value of goods and effectively exploiting the potential of specialized fruit tree and agricultural tree growing areas associated with community tourism, increasing income for people; 5 main solutions for leadership to implement.

Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Van Son acknowledged and praised the results achieved by the Commune Party Committee in the past term. He emphasized that the number one goal that the Commune Party Committee needs to focus on is comprehensive and positive economic development, improving people's lives. The commune needs to exploit its potentials and advantages in terms of geographical location, land, forest resources and natural conditions such as being close to central wards, next to National Highway 37, near the river... to creatively develop the commune.

Along with economic development, the Party Committee of the commune pays comprehensive attention to all socio-cultural fields, improves spiritual life, values community cultural values, takes care of people's health; and develops tourism through community tourism and agricultural tourism.

The Party Committee of the commune pays attention to poverty reduction and people with meritorious services, striving to have no poor households by 2030; focuses on building a modern and smart governance, promoting administrative reform, building a government close to the people to solve difficulties for the people; promoting the previous security and order examples, focusing on ensuring national defense and security, maintaining political security, social order and safety, and preventing insecurity and disorder in the locality.

He suggested that the commune focus on building a clean and strong Party organization, along with preventing corruption, waste and negativity; must promote great national unity, propagate and mobilize people to well implement the policies of the Party and State, and local regulations.

The Congress announced the Decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee appointing the Party Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Inspection Committee of the Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; and appointing delegates to attend the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Toan was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee for the first time, for the 2025-2030 term.
