During his program to attend the coronation ceremony of King Charles III of England, on the morning of May 5 (local time), President Vo Van Thuong visited the British Museum. This is a historical site, where Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, VLLenin and many other great thinkers came to work and research in the process of building and perfecting the theory of scientific communism.

In addition, the British Museum is also considered one of the largest museums in the world , displaying many valuable artifacts from many different dynasties and countries. The entire museum is divided into many exhibition areas corresponding to different civilizations and holds nearly 8 million artifacts from all over the world.
Here, President Vo Van Thuong visited the museum's Reading Room and viewed publications bearing the mark of Karl Marx during the period when he lived, worked and researched scientific communism in England.
According to British Museum documents, over the decades, Karl Marx continued to develop his ideas in collaboration with German philosopher Friedrich Engels and published his research papers in the British Museum Reading Room.
Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels went down in human history as the founders of scientific communism, having a huge impact on progressive humanity.
Earlier, President Vo Van Thuong and the Vietnamese high-ranking delegation laid flowers at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial at New Zealand House on Hay Market Street, London. The President also visited embassy staff and met with the Vietnamese community in the UK.
