National Assembly Chairman congratulates the direct Supreme Advisor to the King of Cambodia

On the occasion of Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum being appointed by King Norodom Sihamoni as the King's direct Supreme Advisor, on April 16, 2024, on behalf of the National Assembly , the Vietnamese people and on his own behalf, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue warmly sent a congratulatory letter.

In the letter, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue affirmed that this great honor not only demonstrates the King's trust and appreciation for Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum but also recognizes Samdech's important contributions to serving the country and people of Cambodia.

We always cherish and forever remember the sincere feelings and brotherly friendship that Samdech has for the country and people of Vietnam," wrote Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue in the letter. The Chairman of the National Assembly believes that relevant agencies will continue to actively implement the results and agreements reached during Samdech's official visit to Vietnam in October 2022 and the official visit to Cambodia by Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue in November 2022, contributing to further strengthening the relationship between the two countries as well as cooperation between the two legislative bodies. The National Assembly Chairman expressed his belief that with his good feelings for Vietnam, regardless of his position, Samdech will continue to make positive contributions to the good neighborly relationship, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability between Vietnam and Cambodia, a special relationship that has been painstakingly built and nurtured by generations of leaders and people of the two countries, including Samdech's great contributions.
