National Assembly Chairman welcomes and holds talks with Chairman of the Russian State Duma

On the afternoon of October 15, at the National Assembly House, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue chaired the official welcoming ceremony and held talks with Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Viktorovich Volodin on the occasion of his official visit to Vietnam.

According to Quochoi.vn, also attending the official welcoming ceremony for the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Viktorovich Volodin were Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh; Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong; Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Vu Hai Ha; Chairman of the Culture and Education Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh; Chairman of the Science, Technology and Environment Committee Le Quang Huy; Chairman of the Economic Committee Vu Hong Thanh; Chairman of the Finance and Budget Committee Le Quang Manh; Vice Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Nguyen Manh Tien; Vice Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Le Thu Ha; Vice Chairman of the Law Committee Tran Hong Nguyen; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Office, Assistant to the National Assembly Chairman Pham Thai Ha; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang; Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai.

This official visit to Vietnam is the first visit of the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation to Vietnam since the COVID-19 pandemic, aiming to strengthen and further promote the cooperative relationship between the National Assembly of Vietnam and the State Duma of the Russian Federation in particular, strengthen political trust and promote the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries in general.
