Tung Duong and Soobin will sing to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong's liberation.

Tung Duong, Soobin, Anh Tu and many other artists will participate in the art program celebrating the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Hai Phong city.

The art program celebrating the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong City's liberation will take place on the evening of May 13 with many musical pieces from traditional to modern.

Taking on the highlight performance of the program, singer Tung Duong will perform two songs “Red Flamboyant City – Hai Phong Takes Off to Fly Up” in the grand opening scene. These are the most unique and familiar songs to the public about Hai Phong, both traditional and contemporary.

Singer Tung Duong also performed a mashup of two songs "The Party Flag - The Party is My Life", combined with an impressive stage set-up to affirm that the birth of the Party is the guiding light for the workers' movement and the national liberation movement.

Soobin Hoang Son will perform the Northern folk medley "Drum rice - Sitting on the boat's side". In which, "Drum rice" is a work that he and artists Tu Long and Cuong Seven renewed in the program "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai", which is loved by many audiences. In addition, Soobin also sang at the end of the program "Vinh quang dang cho ta" (composed by Rhymastic), talking about the aspiration to contribute to life.

Anh Tu, Lam Bao Ngoc, and Dinh Quang Dat will sing in harmony the song "We Are The World" by Michael Jackson, sending a message of integration and compassion. The performance will feature over 200 dancers.

Anh Tu also performed the song "My hometown port" (musician Hoang Viet) with a choir of 700 veterans, actors, and children.

The program includes many performances recreating the city's history through the stages of nation building, national defense and development in peacetime. Many famous names including singers Tung Duong, Vu Thang Loi, Phuong Linh, Hoang Bach participated.

Some artists from Hai Phong such as Khanh Hoa , Phuong Anh (Sao Mai Diem Hen), Pham Thu Ha, Dinh Quang Dat (Vietnam Idol) also participated.

The art night is part of a series of events celebrating the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Hai Phong, taking place on May 13, 1955, the day France completely withdrew from the city according to the Geneva Agreement. The event ended 81 years since France imposed its rule in the Ninh Hai region (present-day Hai Phong), forcing the Nguyen Dynasty to sign the Giap Tuat peace treaty in 1874.
