Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee requested investors to accelerate investment disbursement

On November 27, the collective leadership of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee chaired the November 2024 Provincial People's Committee members' meeting (2nd time) to discuss and give opinions on the contents submitted to the Provincial People's Council at the 9th Session and other tasks under its authority.

At the meeting, members of the Provincial People's Committee discussed and gave opinions on 8 draft reports and draft resolutions in many different fields.

The meeting discussed the Draft Report on the implementation of the State budget tasks in 2024, the State budget estimate in 2025, and the State budget financial plan for the 3 years 2025-2027.

The Department of Finance has worked on this draft to assign budget estimates to units. However, some investors have not completed documents and procedures according to regulations.

Members of the Provincial People's Committee believe that priority should be given to urgent projects to allocate capital. For units that have completed all procedures, the Provincial People's Committee will submit the policy to the Provincial People's Council.

For units that have not completed the procedures, they must wait for later implementation and be responsible to the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council for the delay.

“Investors must complete all procedures before making a decision. Currently, the provincial budget is limited, so units, departments and branches need to share with the province. Only urgent matters should be prioritized for implementation,” emphasized Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Muoi.

The meeting to comment on the Draft Resolution regulating the authority to decide on approving tasks and budget estimates for the procurement of assets and equipment; renovating, upgrading, expanding, and constructing new construction items in invested construction projects of agencies, organizations, and units under the management of Dak Nong province.

Members said that the Department of Finance should balance and advise the Provincial People's Committee on investment funding sources for the areas of the draft resolution in a harmonious direction.

Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Van Hiep commented on the content of land recovery.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized that the tasks of 2024 must be completed quickly and without delay.

Many positions are expected to change but there is no official decision yet, the Provincial People's Committee leaders require individuals to fulfill their responsibilities well in their positions. Avoid the situation of changing jobs and neglecting old tasks.

"All the work that is not completed in 2024, in 2025, the Provincial People's Committee will definitely not sign or resolve if there are any outstanding issues," Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi directed.

Regarding public investment disbursement, Dak Nong is very low. All investors and localities must join the race. Next week, the provincial leaders will personally inspect the works and projects, especially those with disbursement below 30%.
