Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee works with Onsen Fuji Group Joint Stock Company on developing hot mineral spring resort tourism products

On the afternoon of June 21, Comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a working session with Onsen Fuji Group Joint Stock Company on the development of hot spring resort tourism products in the province, led by Mr. Pham Van Tu, Deputy General Director of the company, and other members. Attending the meeting were leaders of a number of departments, branches and Vi Xuyen district.

Before the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son, leaders of relevant departments and branches and Onsen Fuji Group Joint Stock Company surveyed the current status of areas A and B of the Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital in Viet Lam commune (Vi Xuyen).

At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment reported an overview of information on the planned investment areas; the form of selecting investors to implement the project; the mechanism and policies to attract investment in the province's resort tourism sector; the current status of the Quang Ngan mineral spring resort. Accordingly, the land area attracting investment in the project is about 124 hectares; planning is being carried out including areas A, B, C of the Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital; located in Nam Thin village, Quang Ngan commune and Chung village, Viet Lam commune. The project is included in the planning project for new rural construction, phase 2012-2020 of Viet Lam commune. When implementing the project, it will enjoy preferential policies according to current regulations.

Through surveys and field research, Onsen Fuji Group Joint Stock Company believes that, in addition to the potential for tourism development, Ha Giang is also blessed by nature with a natural hot mineral water source located underground; this is a valuable potential for developing resort tourism products combined with therapy and health care associated with hot mineral water. In particular, the hot mineral water source in Quang Ngan commune and Viet Lam commune contains many trace elements that are beneficial to health. Onsen Fuji Group proposed the idea of ​​investing in 2 projects here, including: Wyndham Lynn Times Ha Giang Hot Mineral Park and Trade Complex Project, with an area of ​​about 10.1 hectares with a total estimated investment of about 350 billion VND and Wyndham Lynn Times Ha Giang Hot Mineral Resort and Sports Project, with an area of ​​about 120 hectares; the total estimated investment is about 1,900 billion VND.

In order to soon realize the proposed investment ideas, Onsen Fuji Group Joint Stock Company proposed and requested the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments and branches to speed up the completion of planning procedures, ensure synchronization and completely resolve the remaining issues in areas A, B, C of the Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital. At the same time, consider guiding the company on the sequence of implementing the next procedures to soon deploy and put the project into operation. The company committed that if selected as the investor of the projects, it will focus all resources to carry out procedures on land, investment, construction, etc. in accordance with the provisions of law; deploy construction and complete the project into operation in 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son stated: Ha Giang focuses on developing green and sustainable tourism; the province is currently constructing the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway connecting with the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway, thereby shortening the time from Hanoi to Ha Giang. He said that the province is committed to accompanying the Company, creating favorable conditions during the project implementation process. At the same time, he requested that relevant units get involved so that the investment attraction for the Quang Ngan - Vi Xuyen mineral spring resort project is ensured in accordance with legal regulations and can be implemented soon. Relevant units proactively adjust land use planning; promptly complete the construction zoning plan of the Quang Ngan mineral spring resort to serve as a basis for units to implement the next steps. Guide businesses to implement project procedures in accordance with regulations; remove difficulties and obstacles for businesses. Coordinate in organizing auctions of land use rights in accordance with regulations. Monitor progress and content to urge sectors to implement project sequence.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Onsen Fuji Group Joint Stock Company to proactively contact relevant units to be provided with information and research the planning orientation of the construction zoning, Quang Ngan mineral spring tourist area as a basis for proposing the implementation of the investment project. Continue to research to develop tourism products of the province; act as a bridge to promote the image of Ha Giang land and people to the Japanese people. Proactively contact households to implement in the form of receiving transfer, leasing land use rights, receiving capital contribution in the form of land use rights to report to the Provincial People's Committee for approval for land areas not subject to state land acquisition...
