Focus on developing industrial park and industrial cluster projects in the province.

(Quang Binh Portal) - On the afternoon of February 25, 2025, the Provincial People's Committee held a working session with units and localities on the development of industrial park and industrial cluster projects in the province. Attending the meeting were comrade Le Ngoc Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrade Tran Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities; representatives of leaders of New Horizon Investment and Development Joint Stock Company.

Speaking at the meeting, the Provincial Party Secretary outlined the current situation of industrial park and industrial cluster development in the province and said that in recent times, Quang Binh has made many efforts in industrial development but in general, it has not yet fully exploited its available potential and advantages, the occupancy rate is still low, many places still face difficulties in infrastructure and investment attraction. To remove these "bottlenecks", the province needs a new approach in the direction of drastic action, doing it right away, doing it for real, focusing on developing infrastructure of industrial parks and industrial clusters in a modern and synchronous direction; strongly improving the investment environment, attracting private enterprises and FDI; developing high value-added industries, supporting industries; training high-quality human resources to serve industry.

He affirmed that Quang Binh is currently in great need of investors with financial strength and potential to invest in industrial park and industrial cluster projects in the area. Therefore, the province welcomes the New Horizon Investment and Development Joint Stock Company to have a policy, pay attention to researching and proposing investment ideas for projects in the province. He hopes that the Company will implement modern and synchronous industrial park projects, combining industry - services - urban areas to create sustainable economic value; attract clean and high-tech industrial enterprises to the industrial park. The province is committed to creating favorable conditions when investors carry out procedures related to the locality in order to implement the projects in the shortest time.

Representative of New Horizon Investment and Development Joint Stock Company presented ideas for investing in projects in Quang Binh province.

At the meeting, representatives of the departments and branches reported and discussed the situation of construction, development and attraction of investment projects in industrial parks, industrial clusters, seaports and some other fields in the province; representatives of New Horizon Investment and Development Joint Stock Company also introduced an overview of the enterprise and its recent operations, and said that the Company was very impressed and highly appreciated the effectiveness of a number of project groups in the province's fields for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 that has been planned. Especially with private investment projects, the Company is currently conducting research and wishes to participate as an investor in a number of agricultural development projects in Thach Hoa commune, Tuyen Hoa district; freight transport service projects, logistics services in Hon La Economic Zone, Cha Lo Border Gate Economic Zone; Infrastructure projects of Hon La Port, Bang Industrial Park, Quan Hau Northwest Industrial Park, Hon La 2 Industrial Park, and the western gateway Industrial Park of Hon La Economic Zone.

According to the Company's assessment, these projects are very feasible, with favorable current and future traffic connections and business lines that are suitable for the strategic investment goals of the enterprise in the medium and long term. The Company commits to comply with the provisions of the law when the province approves to research and invest in industrial park projects in the area.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee delivered a concluding speech at the meeting

Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the investment ideas of New Horizon Investment and Development Joint Stock Company in the province, especially in the areas where the province has strengths such as agriculture, logistics, seaport infrastructure, industrial park infrastructure, industrial clusters, etc. To create favorable conditions for investors in the process of researching, proposing investment plans and implementing investment procedures in accordance with the provisions of law, he requested the Economic Zone Management Board, the Department of Planning and Investment to coordinate with departments, branches, units, and localities to guide and support investors in surveying, researching plans, preparing proposal documents, and implementing project investment procedures in accordance with the provisions of investment law and other relevant regulations. The Department of Industry and Trade guides, supports, and creates conditions for the Company to research, survey, and complete investment plans for industrial cluster projects in accordance with the planning. In addition, he also assigned specific tasks to relevant departments, branches and localities according to their functions and duties, to coordinate, support and facilitate investors in the process of surveying, researching and completing legal procedures in accordance with regulations.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that New Horizon Investment and Development Joint Stock Company proactively coordinate and work specifically with units and localities to survey and complete investment plans for projects, and promptly report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee.
