On August 13, the leader of Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training said that the department has just sent a document to the People's Committees of communes, wards and affiliated units regarding the implementation of school uniforms for the 2025-2026 school year.
According to the above document, on August 11, the Department of Education and Training issued Official Dispatch No. 558 on the implementation of school uniforms and fees for the 2025-2026 school year.
However, after issuing the document, the People's Committees of some communes and wards sent official dispatches requesting not to implement the regulations on school uniforms in the 2025-2026 school year according to official dispatch No. 558. The reason is that many parents have purchased uniforms for their children, or reused uniforms from the previous school year.
Therefore, the Department of Education and Training allows these cases to continue using purchased uniforms or old uniforms in the 2025-2026 school year. Regarding other contents in Official Dispatch No. 558, the Department requests educational institutions to follow the instructions.

Previously, on August 11, the Department of Education and Training issued Official Dispatch No. 558, requesting affiliated units and People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones in the area on the implementation of school uniforms and fees for the 2025-2026 school year.
The Department recommends that educational institutions throughout the province (except non-public educational institutions) implement a unified traditional school uniform (ink blue pants or skirt, white shirt), not deploy separate uniforms for each school, and not have accessories such as ties, sleeve edges, collars, shoulder pads... of different colors.
According to the Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training, the unit issued the above document to reduce the unreasonable financial burden on parents at the beginning of the school year.
The document of the department also clearly states that female high school students can only wear ao dai on certain days such as Mondays, holidays and traditional activities of the industry.
For gym uniforms, if schools have uniform regulations, they must ensure the style is stable for many years. Students can wear shoes or sandals with back straps, but it is not required to be uniform.
In addition, the department requires that textbooks, notebooks, and school supplies not be sold in schools. Educational institutions only notify and guide parents to purchase them themselves.
It is forbidden to take advantage of the name of the parents' representative board to collect fees other than those prescribed in Circular No. 55/2011 of the Minister of Education and Training .
In addition, the department also requires schools to continue to promote the implementation of cashless payment of school fees according to the direction and guidance of the Department of Education and Training.
