On June 9, working delegations of the National Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam worked in Dong Nai , Vinh Long, and Tien Giang provinces on preparations for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.
Dong Nai has the 5th largest number of candidates registered for the exam in the country.
The working delegation of the National Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, led by Deputy Minister ofEducation and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong, worked in Dong Nai province on preparations for the exam.
Reporting at the meeting, a representative of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province said that the whole province has more than 37,200 candidates registered to take the exam this year, of which nearly 36,800 are high school and continuing education candidates; more than 820 are independent candidates. Compared to the 2024 exam, this year, Dong Nai province increased by nearly 3,000 candidates, becoming the unit with the 5th largest number of candidates registered to take the exam in the country.
Dong Nai province has arranged 64 examination sites with more than 1,600 examination rooms located at high schools and continuing education centers. Of these, 62 examination sites are for candidates taking the new 2018 general education program and 2 examination sites are for candidates taking the 2006 general education program.
Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province, Truong Thi Kim Hue, said: The Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam of Dong Nai province has mobilized more than 5,800 officials, teachers, and employees to perform exam supervision duties, ensuring security, order, and health care for all exam sites.
In areas where exam papers are stored and graded, the province always ensures that 100% of them have surveillance cameras. In particular, the unit closely coordinates with Dong Nai Electricity Company to inspect and ensure safe and uninterrupted power supply conditions for exam sites.
Each testing site is equipped with a backup generator to prevent power system failure.
Currently, the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province is urgently coordinating with local authorities at the examination sites to review preparations and develop plans to ensure security and order at the examination sites. At the same time, 6 inspection teams have been established to inspect facilities, examination room arrangements, and places where exam papers are printed.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong highly appreciated the preparation work for the exam of the Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in Dong Nai province.
According to the Deputy Minister, this year's exam is the first time the exam is held according to the new 2018 General Education Program. This is also the last exam organized according to the 2006 General Education Program, for independent candidates.
This year's exam takes place in the context that the entire political system is carrying out the work of arranging and streamlining the apparatus, organizing and operating the administrative apparatus at the provincial and communal levels.
In particular, in the context of many subjects taking advantage of modern technology to commit cheating in exams, localities, including Dong Nai province, must ensure strict and thoughtful inspection and supervision measures throughout the exam process.
The Deputy Minister of Education and Training emphasized that the coordination and preparation for the exam must be thoughtful, thorough, in advance, from afar, and contingency plans must be developed in advance; fully implementing the 4 right (correct regulations, correct instructions, correct procedures, correct handling of unusual situations), 3 no's (no subjective negligence, no stress, excessive pressure, no arbitrarily handling unusual situations) and 2 promote (promote the sense of responsibility and self-awareness of officials and candidates during the exam).
On the same day, the Working Group inspected the exam printing and grading points in Dong Nai province. Through the inspection, the Working Group advised the province to arrange more supervisors in the exam printing and grading department, and to strengthen guidance and inspection work to organize the best exam.
Vinh Long proactively builds contingency plans for situations
On the same day, Inspection Team No. 2 of the National Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, led by Deputy Minister of Education and Training Le Tan Dung, worked with Vinh Long province on preparations for the exam.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung acknowledged the careful and thorough preparation of the Steering Committee for the High School Graduation Exam of Vinh Long province, and at the same time suggested continuing to identify the important role of the Steering Committee, clearly assigning tasks to each member in conjunction with responsibilities during the exam organization process.
The members of the Steering Committee increased their responsibility, coordinated well in preparing the conditions for organizing the exam, carefully checked the facilities and equipment to ensure service for the exam sites, and the printing and transportation of exam papers in accordance with regulations.
At the same time, the Exam Steering Committee needs to pay attention to the work of monitoring and checking food safety, safety issues, security and order in exam rooms, proactively developing scenarios and contingency plans for unusual situations to ensure the exam takes place safely, seriously and in accordance with regulations.
Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung emphasized that from now until the exam day, members of the Exam Steering Committee need to coordinate to support candidates in terms of knowledge, psychology, health, promptly grasp the circumstances of special candidates to create conditions for participating in the exam with the spirit of "not leaving any candidate behind;" pay attention to creating conditions and peace of mind for the force performing tasks during the exam, propagate so that parents understand and agree, and together with the community take responsibility to contribute to the success of the exam.

Through the on-site inspection, the working group highly appreciated the province's careful preparation, from facilities to personnel arrangement for the exam, review work and support for candidates to have solid knowledge and mentality to enter the exam.
According to the Steering Committee for the High School Graduation Exam in Vinh Long Province, this year's exam has 11,731 candidates registered in the province. The province organized 30 exam sites with 521 exam rooms. The total number of staff and teachers mobilized to participate in organizing the exam is 1,914 people.
Up to now, the examination sites have been prepared in terms of facilities, equipment, and examination rooms. The Education Department of Vinh Long province has directed schools to focus on assessing students' abilities, developing appropriate review plans, and organizing mock exams to gain experience and continue to help students consolidate their knowledge and prepare for the exam.
Attention was paid to the implementation of tasks and coordination among members of the Steering Committee, especially the development of coordination plans to ensure security, safety, and handling of unusual situations that may arise during the exam.
Along with that, Vinh Long province focuses on supporting candidates for the exam. Through socialization, the province has received attention from units, organizations, and individuals to support exam preparation money, breakfast, lunch, school supplies, etc. for students, converted into over 500 million VND.
In addition, Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union mobilized resources to "Support the 2025 exam season" with cash and materials equivalent to nearly 500 million VND.
Tien Giang increases discipline, reduces violations
Inspecting the preparation for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in Tien Giang province, the working delegation led by Deputy Minister of Education and Training Le Tan Dung inspected the exam printing area, exam sites of Thu Khoa Huan High School (Cho Gao district) and worked with the Provincial Exam Steering Committee.
The delegation highly appreciated the province's careful preparation, from facilities to personnel arrangement for the exam. All exam locations were well-lit, and the areas for storing exam papers and test papers were carefully prepared, fully meeting the requirements of the exam regulations.
Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Tien Giang province, Vo Van Hieu, informed that for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, Tien Giang province will organize 32 official exam sites and 23 backup exam sites, including one exam site located in Tan Phu Dong island district.
The furthest exam site is Le Thanh Hien High School, about 60km from the Examination Council. A total of 16,926 candidates registered to take the exam across the province.
The provincial Steering Committee for the exam consists of 46 members. The total number of staff and teachers mobilized to participate in organizing the exam is 2,808 people. The coordination between departments, branches, sectors, organizations and local authorities has been effectively implemented, creating favorable conditions for teachers and students, contributing to ensuring the exam takes place safely, seriously, honestly and effectively.
In particular, Tien Giang province focuses on supporting candidates taking the exam, implementing many convenient solutions such as supporting transportation, arranging accommodation for candidates living far away and other practical activities.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung acknowledged the careful and thorough preparation of the Tien Giang Provincial Examination Steering Committee. The province should consider this as experience and motivation to better organize the 2025 exam, without being subjective or negligent.
Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung emphasized that the exam consists of many important stages, so all procedures need to be carefully and closely prepared early to ensure smooth operation later. In particular, exam safety must be given top priority; the exam is identified as a key task, requiring strong and close direction from early on and from afar.
The time from now until the exam day is very close, Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung suggested that Tien Giang province needs to review the preparation of facilities, apparatus, and personnel for the exam; have measures to propagate the regulations for candidates to understand; during the exam, there must be a timely information and reporting system to be able to handle issues and incidents well.
In order for the exam to take place safely, seriously and in accordance with regulations, the province needs to strengthen coordination with departments and branches in organizing the exam; further strengthen inspection and examination work to prevent, increase discipline, and minimize violations.../.
