Party Congress of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism: Further arousing the spirit of innovation and the desire to rise up

With the motto: "Decisive action - Aspiration to contribute", innovation and creativity contribute significantly to the cause of comprehensive development of Vietnamese culture and people in the new era, the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, term 2025 - 2030, affirms the high political determination in building a clean and strong Party Committee, contributing to the development of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector to be increasingly comprehensive, modern, and rich in identity, for the sustainable development of the country.

The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, term 2025 - 2030, is scheduled to take place over two days, from June 25 to 26, 2025, at the Hanoi Opera House, No. 1 Trang Tien, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi City.

The Congress took place in the context that the entire industry is actively implementing strategic tasks in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, which determined that cultural development is on par with economic, political and social development; sports and tourism are areas that contribute to building comprehensively developed Vietnamese people, forming national identity in the era of integration and development. This is a political event of special significance for all cadres, party members and workers in the entire Culture, Sports and Tourism sector.

The congress was attended by 250 official delegates, representing nearly 3,000 party members from 58 grassroots party organizations under the Ministry's Party Committee.

Minister Nguyen Van Hung chaired a meeting to review the plan to organize the Party Congress of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 2025-2030 term.

The Congress has the task of summarizing and evaluating the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, at the same time, setting out directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term, meeting the requirements of industry development in the new situation; The Congress will also focus on discussing and contributing opinions to draft documents submitted to Party Congresses at all levels, demonstrating the sense of responsibility, intelligence, solidarity and development aspirations of the entire Party Committee.

This is also an opportunity to further arouse the spirit of innovation, the desire to rise up, promote the combined strength, and create a solid foundation for the comprehensive development of the culture, sports and tourism sectors in the context of the country's deep integration.
