Can Dang Commune hands over Great Unity house under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

On June 10, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Dang Commune (Chau Thanh District) coordinated with the Central Executive Committee of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha to organize the handover of 11 Great Solidarity houses under the Program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses".

Handing over the house to the households

After the construction period, 11 Great Solidarity houses were completed and handed over to poor households in the commune. The total construction cost was over 660 million VND, of which the Central Executive Committee of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha supported 385 million VND; the Steering Committee for the Program to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses of the District supported 275 million VND, the rest was contributed by the households. Each house was built to ensure the "3 hard" criteria, with the value of each house ranging from 60 million VND to 85 million VND.

On this occasion, the Central Executive Committee of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Church presented gifts to congratulate the families who received their houses.
