Opening of training course to improve qualifications on digital transformation and digital skills for cadres, civil servants and public employees

(binhdinh.gov.vn) - On the morning of June 11, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan attended and directed the opening ceremony of the training course to improve qualifications on digital transformation and digital skills for officials, civil servants and public employees (CBCCVC) of Binh Dinh province in 2025.

Implementing Action Plan No. 152-KH/TU dated May 13, 2025 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, on June 7, 2025, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 109/KH-UBND to organize training to improve qualifications in digital transformation and digital skills for civil servants and public employees in 2025. According to the plan, from June 11 to 24, 2025, training will be organized for a total of 34,675 trainees; of which, direct training and fostering will be organized for 96 classes with 9,892 trainees who are civil servants and public employees of agencies, organizations, and public service units of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and the Public Security in the province; Online training and development for 247 classes with 24,783 students who are officials in the education and health sectors. Each training class takes place in 02 days, at Quy Nhon University and Quy Nhon College of Technology.

The program on digital transformation knowledge and digital skills for civil servants and public employees of Binh Dinh province, compiled by Quy Nhon University, includes 03 main content groups: Basic knowledge and skills on digital transformation; Basic information security; Basic application of digital technology in work. The program aims to equip awareness of digital transformation, foster basic digital skills to help students effectively use digital tools for work; at the same time, improve capacity, ensure information security and apply digital technology, artificial intelligence in state management, contributing to promoting comprehensive digital transformation in agencies, units and localities. At the end of the course, students will take a test on the computer and be granted a Certificate of Course Completion if they meet the requirements.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan emphasized: Organizing training courses to improve the level of digital transformation and digital skills for civil servants and public employees across the province is one of the important activities in the roadmap to implement the National Digital Transformation Program and the Provincial Digital Transformation Plan for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030. Through training courses, civil servants and public employees can search for information, communicate, handle work in a secure network environment and proficiently use the government's digital platforms, contributing to building an e-government towards a digital government; building innovative thinking and a working style that adapts to technology for civil servants and public employees.

In order for the training courses to be organized and implemented effectively, completing the program and content as planned, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan requested that trainees must promote a sense of responsibility, study seriously, comply with the time, rules and regulations of the course and the training facility. They must not do personal work when participating in training, actively acquire knowledge, proactively discuss difficult and problematic content with lecturers and complete final assignments as prescribed. Through the training course, they must be able to apply the knowledge into practice, serving the work effectively.

Lecturers focus on disseminating basic knowledge, increasing interaction, and providing practical guidance so that students can grasp knowledge and practice well right in the classroom.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan requested Quy Nhon University to be proactive in arranging facilities, teaching staff and training materials, and coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Science and Technology to implement training work to ensure quality and efficiency.

The Department of Science and Technology proactively coordinates with Quy Nhon University in training, especially program content, training materials, and practical skills, ensuring suitability for each group of students.

The Department of Home Affairs proactively coordinates with Quy Nhon University, the Department of Science and Technology and agencies, units and localities to organize training courses to ensure quantity and quality. Timely grasp information and implementation status of training courses, especially the situation of trainees, learning and training results and performance results of post-training tasks of civil servants and public employees; promptly report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee any remaining difficulties and problems.

Relevant departments, branches, agencies and localities direct civil servants to arrange time and work reasonably to fully participate in the training program and content.
