The activity aims to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025) and welcome the 18th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Attending the final round were representatives of Hanoi Moi Newspaper; Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Duong Noi Ward Can Thi Viet Ha; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ward Nguyen Sy Hoat; Chairman of the People's Committee of the Ward Phung Chi Tam, and more than 300 athletes.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of Duong Noi Ward People's Committee Phung Chi Tam said that the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Run - For Peace is a large-scale traditional sporting event of the Capital, maintained continuously since 1974. After 50 seasons, the Run has affirmed its profound cultural and sporting value, attracting a large number of people from all walks of life to participate, contributing to promoting domestic and international exchanges.

This is not only a practical activity to celebrate major holidays, but also to spread the spirit of physical training following the example of great Uncle Ho, improve community health, strengthen solidarity, and aim to build a sustainable Hanoi - Vietnam.

In order to run the race effectively and with quality, recently, the Organizing Committee of the ward-level race has proactively deployed plans to agencies, units, and schools in the area to prepare forces. Up to now, more than 300 outstanding athletes from agencies, units, schools, and residential groups have participated in the final round of the 50th Hanoi Moi Newspaper Run - For Peace in Duong Noi Ward in 2025. Through the race, the Organizing Committee will select excellent athletes to train to participate in the final round of the 50th Hanoi Moi Newspaper Run - For Peace organized by Hanoi City in the near future.
As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 6 First prizes, 6 Second prizes, 6 Third prizes for individuals and 2 First prizes for male and female teams; 2 Second prizes for male and female teams and 2 Third prizes for male and female teams.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded the first prize to An Khang residential group; the second prize to Thang Loi residential group and the third prize to Hoang Van Thu residential group.
