What is special about the Local Specialties - Traditional Craft Villages program in Ho Chi Minh City?

On December 29, at the Independence Palace (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), the program Local specialties - Traditional craft villages took place, with the participation of nearly 40 businesses from 18 provinces and cities across the country.

The event takes place until December 31, 2023, co-organized by the Center for Business Research and Enterprise Support (BSA), the Association of High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Enterprises and Vinamit Joint Stock Company.

The Local Specialties - Traditional Craft Villages program has many experiential activities, product trials, games, sales programs... for consumers to come and shop during the event.

Chefs from the Golden Spoon Chef Club instruct on how to prepare regional dishes such as sweet soup and traditional cakes at the event.

Specifically, at the performance area, from 9am to 10am every day, there will be instructions on how to prepare regional dishes such as sweet soups and traditional cakes (South - Central - North). The organizers will invite chefs from the Golden Spoon Chef Club and the Center for Culinary Culture Preservation.

Businesses introduce new products to consumers

At the sales and product introduction area, there are nearly 40 booths, run by high-quality Vietnamese goods businesses, start-ups, and regional and local specialty clubs. This activity takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.

For visitors and shoppers who love handmade products, there is a workshop and experience area where artisans will guide visitors to experience making to he figurines, products from loofah, sedge... Area to experience traditional craft villages, beeswax painting, brocade weaving, silk weaving of Thai and H'Mong ethnic groups...

Sharing at the program, Ms. Vu Kim Hanh - President of the Association of High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Enterprises - said: This time, in the shopping space there will be unique local products from indigenous resources, OCOP products, geographical indication products, typical rural products of the whole country.
