To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification, and International Labor Day, May 1st, at 8:00 p.m. tonight, at Nguyen Phi Y Lan Lake, Bac Ninh City, the Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs program on a boat will take place with the theme "Songs that go with the years".
The program starts at 8:00 p.m. and lasts 90-120 minutes.
According to the plan, the program with 17 performances, is staged in 2 parts: Performing on the stage on the shore and singing Quan Ho folk songs on the boat. In which, the performance on the stage on the shore with the theme "The country is full of joy", includes the performances: Vietnam is strong, Uncle is marching with us, Spring for the Party, Bac Bling... Part 2 has the theme "Quan Ho village of my homeland", with 11 performances of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs with ancient lyrics such as: I am a daughter of Bac Ninh, Nam nhi, Len tien cung, Buon bac buon dau, Giang thanh gio mat... and songs with Quan Ho folk melodies. With proud melodies, majestic songs that live forever with time, carefully selected, combined with the delicate, profound, and subtle beauty of passionate and affectionate folk songs, will bring to the audience a unique artistic space with many new experiences, both recalling the memories of previous generations, arousing pride in cultural traditions and raising awareness and responsibility for preserving and promoting the value of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs heritage. The program is broadcast live on Bac Ninh Radio and Television.
Also in Ly Thai To Street (Bac Ninh City), there will be booths displaying, introducing, and promoting tourism and OCOP products of the province. At the same time, there will be a number of street cultural activities and traditional folk games to serve the people and tourists.
