The past 80 years have been 80 years of the Cultural sector always accompanying the nation's destiny, both preserving and promoting cultural identity and creating and innovating to meet the requirements of each historical period.
Therefore, the creative team has made efforts to combine many forms of expression such as singing, dancing, music, stage staging and projection of documentary images to vividly recreate the mark of the cultural sector through each period; from the early days of independence, resistance, national reunification to the renovation and integration process today.

“Recreating the achievements and contributions of the cultural sector over the past 80 years is a tribute to generations of cadres, artists and cultural intellectuals who have contributed to the country; at the same time, it arouses pride and awareness of preserving and promoting cultural values in every citizen today,” People’s Artist Tran Binh shared.

The program's production team hopes that the audience will not only enjoy a political art program that still has strong artistic elements, but also relive historical moments, feel the spirit of solidarity, resilience and aspiration to rise of the Vietnamese people.
The program will leave a beautiful echo, contributing to spreading the love of culture and a sense of responsibility for the heritage left by our ancestors, so that culture continues to accompany the nation on the new path of development.
Following the course of history, in February 1943, at the Central Party Standing Committee Conference, it was determined that there must be a leadership policy to build the foundation of Vietnamese culture in the revolutionary cause of national liberation. The Conference issued the "Outline on Vietnamese culture".
The outline clearly states: "The cultural front is one of the three economic, political and cultural fronts."
Thus, right from the first steps of preparation for the new government apparatus "of the people, by the people and for the people", our Party has attached great importance to the role of culture and oriented the building of Vietnamese culture closely linked to the revolutionary mission of the nation.
On November 24, 1946, the first National Cultural Conference was held at the Hanoi Opera House. In his opening speech, President Ho Chi Minh emphasized: “… Along with politics and economics , culture has been proving its role as the spiritual foundation of society, both the goal and the driving force for socio-economic development”... “Culture must light the way for the nation to go…”.
Over the past 80 years, the Vietnamese cultural sector has continuously affirmed its role and made important contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Culture has become a force to encourage solidarity and foster the indomitable will of the entire people in the resistance war. Literary and artistic works and mass cultural movements have aroused patriotism and belief in victory, creating great spiritual strength to help the nation overcome countless challenges.
Entering the period of peace , unity and innovation, the cultural sector continues to be the vanguard force in preserving and promoting national identity, while expanding international exchange and integration. Traditional cultural values are preserved and honored, while new and modern creations are encouraged.
Thereby, contributing to building the image of a dynamic and unique Vietnam in the international arena. Culture becomes a bridge, enhancing the soft power of the country, effectively supporting socio-economic development; affirming the role of culture in building the national defense posture.
Today, as the nation enters a new era - an era of deep integration and strong growth, the Cultural sector continues to undertake the mission of arousing the desire for development and fostering the character and personality of the Vietnamese people.
By harmoniously combining tradition and modernity, national spirit and popular character, culture will continue to be the spiritual driving force, the endogenous strength for the country to confidently move forward, firmly on the path of building a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
