Pham Phu Thu High School - Go Noi celebrates its 40th anniversary

DNO - On the morning of August 16, Pham Phu Thu - Go Noi High School (Go Noi Commune, Da Nang City) solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Attending were Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan and Director of the City Department of Education and Training Le Thi Bich Thuan.

Speaking at the ceremony, teacher Le Ngoc Hung, Party Cell Secretary, Principal of Pham Phu Thu High School - Go Noi shared that after the three communes of Dien Quang, Dien Trung and Dien Phong (old Go Noi and Dien Ban areas) proposed to establish a high school in Go Noi area so that their children could continue to study in high school, in the 1985 - 1986 school year, the high school was officially established and put into operation.

Through countless difficulties and shortages, generations of cadres, teachers and staff of the school are still enthusiastic about imparting knowledge; sticking to the class, sticking to the school for the sake of their beloved juniors. After many name changes, since the 2000-2001 school year, the unit was officially named Pham Phu Thu High School. On July 24, 2025, the People's Committee of Da Nang City issued Decision No. 610, according to this decision, the unit was renamed Pham Phu Thu - Go Noi High School.

Located in the center of Go Noi area, the school constantly strives to teach and learn to be worthy of the heroic and studious tradition of the homeland. After 40 years, Pham Phu Thu High School has now become one of the prestigious high schools with a team of dedicated staff and teachers, and spacious facilities. Thousands of students have their dreams of entering the classroom. The rate of students passing the graduation and university entrance exams is getting higher and higher.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan highly appreciated and praised the school for having gone through a 40-year journey full of hardships, amidst countless difficulties but still very proud. Pham Phu Thu - Go Noi High School was awarded many certificates of merit and flags by the Government, the Ministry of Education and Training, Quang Nam province (old) and Da Nang city. In particular, in the 2003-2004 school year, the school was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal from the President.

According to comrade Tran Anh Tuan, the ceremony took place in a particularly meaningful context when the whole country was preparing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the two-level government was gradually operating stably and was about to enter the new school year 2025 - 2026. On this occasion, the city leaders requested the school and students to continue to promote the tradition and achievements to make a breakthrough in the coming time.

The school continues to implement the policy of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training. Review, train and improve the quality of staff, teachers and employees to meet the requirements of applying science, technology and artificial intelligence in teaching and learning.

The school closely coordinates with parents to grasp the situation of each student's family, not allowing any student to drop out of school for economic reasons. Promote the socialization of education.
