With a comprehensive, more dramatic, more attractive and innovative format filled with the spirit and courage of the young generation, “New Generation Students” 2025 aims at two main goals: both enhancing the academic experience, skills and team spirit of students, and creating an attractive television playground, connecting young audiences with the innovative spirit of Gen Z.
Journalist Phan Long, Deputy Head of Culture and Entertainment Department, Vietnam Television, said: In the 2025 season, the crew carried out a radical format reconstruction, focusing on practicality, drama and comprehensive development associated with community responsibility for students.
The rounds are redesigned to challenge not only knowledge but also the ability to organize, implement projects and the courage to commit of students in real-life situations, including: Identity Arena, Sports and Talent Arena, Reality Arena, Courage Arena and National Final Arena.

The two criteria of drama and entertainment are shown through the rounds of competition, debate, calling for investment and team challenges. The teams are encouraged to be creative in presenting their projects instead of just giving presentations as before. In addition, the combination of reports, behind-the-scenes and judge interactions helps the audience understand each team better, while enhancing the appeal and emotional color of the program.
The highlight of “New Generation Students” 2025 is the journey from “I” to “we”, where youth and ideals are realized through actions and create positive social impacts. Season 3 still honors team spirit, but at the same time expands the space for each contestant to demonstrate their individual abilities, thereby clearly revealing their maturity after each round.
This is demonstrated through the breakthrough of Round 3 “Reality Arena”, when the teams must use their abilities and accumulated points to mobilize resources and implement community projects within 48 hours. “Plot twists” are also included, challenging the students’ ability to improvise flexibly, while creating dramatic and attractive moments for the audience.

In particular, not only stopping at the title, outstanding individuals will have the opportunity to receive jobs from the Guest Council or sponsors right after the final round, thereby promoting competitive motivation and opening up career opportunities for the contestants.
The program's jury includes members: Professor, Dr. Tran Xuan Bach, Vice President of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association; Ms. Tran Hoai Phuong, Investment Director of Wavemaker Partners; Brand Director Nguyen Le Vu Linh; Brand Director Mai Ngoc Nhan.
Through the recorded rounds, the judges highly appreciated the talent, creativity and dedication of the teams. Many projects were assessed to have practical applications and potential for social development.
Professor, Dr. Tran Xuan Bach said: This is one of the rare playgrounds where teams and universities with their own identities are creative, interact with each other, open up and from there train each other to increasingly improve the quality of the competitions; it is also an example showing the transformation in the education system of universities that is getting closer to the needs of society, to serve, to meet the needs of the country's general development process.
Brand Director Nguyen Le Vu Linh shared that he was extremely surprised by the students' ability to turn paper projects into reality. In just a very short time, they were able to convince sponsors to listen and agree to support, not to mention organizing workshops, spreading the project to the community... These skills will become valuable assets to help them apply effectively in their future work and life.

Adding to the appeal of this year's "New Generation Students" season is the return of Double2T, the MC duo Khanh Vy-Quang Bao, along with the appearance of artists in the "All-round Rookie" lineup, creating a space of strong inspiration, connecting academics, creativity and youthful energy.
