
Within the framework of the visit and working session in the Federal Republic of Germany of the working delegation of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission and the Central Mass Mobilization Commission led by Mr. Pham Tat Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Commission, on October 29, the delegation had a meeting and worked with the Union of Vietnamese Associations in the Federal Republic of Germany.
Welcoming the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Quang Anh, Vice President of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in the Federal Republic of Germany; Mr. Dong Thanh Nguyen, representative of Dong Xuan Berlin Trade Center; Mr. Pham Huy Phuong, Permanent Member of the Community Affairs Committee of the Embassy of Vietnam in the Federal Republic of Germany and Ms. Nguyen Hong Hanh, representative of the Embassy of Vietnam in the Federal Republic of Germany.
At the meeting, reporting on the outstanding activities of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Nguyen Quang Anh - Vice President of the Union said that in recent times, the Union of Vietnamese Associations in the Federal Republic of Germany has always strived to strengthen the great solidarity bloc, connect Vietnamese organizations and associations in Germany, turn to the homeland and actively contribute to community work. In particular, in the recent fundraising campaign to support compatriots in the country affected by storms No. 10 (Bualoi) and 11 (Matmo), the Union of Associations has mobilized more than 3.7 billion VND, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and affection and the heart towards the Fatherland of overseas Vietnamese.
Representing overseas Vietnamese at Dong Xuan Berlin Trade Center, Mr. Dong Thanh Nguyen said that Dong Xuan Berlin Trade Center is currently one of the largest Vietnamese commercial areas in Europe, gathering hundreds of overseas Vietnamese businesses. Dong Xuan Berlin is not only a trading place, but also a unique cultural and tourist space, contributing to promoting the image of Vietnamese people and culture to German and international friends.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Pham Tat Thang, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, expressed his respect and appreciation for the spirit of solidarity, dynamism and creativity of the Vietnamese community in the Federal Republic of Germany.
On this occasion, Mr. Pham Tat Thang informed the Vietnamese people about the socio -economic development situation of Vietnam, highlighting the achievements in the renovation process and the increasingly strong position of Vietnam in the international arena.

Affirming that the Vietnamese community in the Federal Republic of Germany has been making an important contribution to building the image of a friendly, integrated and developing Vietnam in the international arena, Mr. Pham Tat Thang hopes that overseas Vietnamese will continue to accompany their homeland, contributing their intelligence and resources to build an increasingly rich and prosperous Vietnam.
The meeting took place in a friendly, warm and meaningful atmosphere, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party and State for the overseas Vietnamese community. This is also an important bridge, contributing to strengthening the close relationship between the homeland and overseas Vietnamese, together towards the goal of building a great national unity bloc.
